Ramdition 2016 Puzzle Process Fun

For Ramdition this year. I thought it would be a good idea to make a big puzzle game board for a student activity. Honestly, we had tried to do a game board motion graphic for a video two years before with our intern in the lab at the time, Maurika Smutherman. Unfortunately the game board and video didn’t make it to see the light of day. We even had a lil mascot, “Patches”. So, of course I had to give the game board idea another shot and this time it will be seen.

Cindy Levine, Linda Livas and Janet Malliett put the puzzle together

Instead of a video of a game board, its a puzzle of a game board. It took A month to create (working on the board and other projects as well the entire board, WSSU campus buildings and extras minus the mascot we already had.

Shaddia Moore tested the puzzle out for me as well

Some library staff had fun putting the puzzle together. One of the three puzzles made were assembled by new WSSU faculty as a fun activity to get to know each other.

I also made the design and layout using Adobe Illustrator and cut all of the pieces out. This was definitely a fun project…VIVA “PATCHES”!
